Bridge & Burn x OMFGCO: The Worker's Uniform

We are proud to announce our new collaboration with Offical Mfg. Co (OMFGCO), a Portland, OR based creative agency. Fritz Mesenbrink and Jeremy Pelley of OMFGCO aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. Their skill sets range from branding and graphic design, to events and marketing, and to interior spaces and physical build out, with a client roster including Ace Hotel, Stumptown Coffee Roasters, Spirit of 77, Dunderdon, Portland Meadows, Olympic Provisions, Google, Nike and many more. Theirs is an aesthetic built from utilitarian beauty.

OMFGCO jumped at the chance to create a Worker’s Uniform. Being tall and lanky, most standard work wear doesn’t fit either of them well and they welcomed the opportunity to design a custom collection that would fit both their tastes and long limbs.

The jacket, shirt and pants all run a little longer than the standard Bridge & Burn fits, adding a bit of length to sleeves and inseams. The shop apron is the piece in the collection most specifically tailored for use in the shop, thoughtfully outfitted with plenty of pockets and lined with a sturdy striped linen—the same material as their Worker’s shirt. The jacket, pants and apron are all made with a sturdy cotton twill.

We'll be formally launching The Worker's Uniform on Friday, Feb. 8, from 4PM to 8PM at our soon to be permanent retail space in downtown Portland, OR.
