Kiriko Kasuri-Ori Tie Indigo Grid
Kiriko tie with a classic cut and made in the United States from unique Japanese fabrics.
Kasuri is derived from the word “kasureru” meaning “blurred”. It is created using individually dyed threads that are skillfully woven into the patterns you see here. Kurume in Fukuoka Prefecture is famous for its woven kasuri fabrics. Many craftsmen in the city have used the same wooden looms and weaving techniques for generations. This produces a unique pattern and texture that differs on each side of the fabric.
