Excellent insulation without too much bulk. It really keeps me cozy even walking Portland streets in December, and the hood is a perfect size to stay protected. The double zipper is a tiny bit hard to get right on a first try, which is slightly frustrating, but even that doesn’t keep this from being a great coat.
Love it! So warm!
Warm and stylish, I can go out in 30degreeF weather with nothing underneath this jacket but a t-shirt and I'm good. I love the stretchy cuffs, the fleece lining, the double zippers, the interior lining in teh pockets (so warm!). I will make 1 comment and 2 requests. First, waxed fabrics don't breathe very well, so keep that in mind if you are doing anything semi active. Request 1: I'd love if the company would include an interior mid-waist cinch of some sort. it'd help give the coat a slightly more tailored/sleek appearance. Request 2: I wish the exterior zippers were slightly larger. When wearing gloves, the zips can be hard to manipulate. I've solved the issue for myself by attaching leather pulls to the zips. But yah, this is a very, very solid coat. I really love Bridge & Burn's outerwear ( i own 3 other jackets) and this fits right in with the rest. Would recommend!
Couldn't be happier. Takes a beating here in the northeast and is holding up great. It definitely needs waxing and cleaning but other than that I have no problem recommending this jacket. They were awesome too about shipping this to me since I bought it in the store in Portland and had it shipped east. 100% should consider this thing.
I never write reviews but this in an excellent coat. Very solid construction, nice heavy waxed cotton and warm insulation. Perfect cut....not too wide or bulky.
