We are excited to share that Portland's own Notary Ceramics will be popping up in our Union Way shop on Saturday, 6/29 from 12-5pm, sharing a curated selection of handmade ceramic pieces. Shop her beautiful collection while snacking on complimentary bites and cooling down with a nice cold beverage!
We are big fans of Notary Ceramic's organic Andrewi simplistic designs, all handmade with locally sourced clays from the Pacific Northwest. Founder Sarah Van Raden has a wabi sabi approach to her craft, admiring the imperfections and unique attributes of each piece. She finds inspiration through her own life as a mother, wife, and avid gardener, and traveler, taking in the great outdoors.
The feeling she gets from working with clay reminds Van Raden of 'being a child again, carefree and full of possibilities." The addition of her modern designs into your daily life might give you just that feeling, a home full of possibilities.
