We've teamed up with Portland-based independent radio station, XRAY.fm, to create a monthly playlist called: Beats & Burn. DJs at XRAY.fm create a playlist and we connect with artists to design cover art inspired by the mix. This October installment features music compiled by Elizabeth Elder, who is one half of the badass Portland music podcast and zine Party Boyz. She is also the founder of the DIY psych + garage festival, Lose Yr Mind and the host of Borrowed Time on XRAY.fm. She likes her wine red and her coffee black.This month's cover art features the photography and graphic design of Thomas Bradley. Thomas is a graphic designer, amateur photographer, immature joke-teller, cheap beer drinker, public radio listener, and solid handshake giver. He has worked at small design shops, global advertising agencies, and just about everywhere else in Portland, Oregon since arriving in 2007. He is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, is an Eagle Scout, has broken both index fingers, and was once arrested in Holland.
