When I got an Instagram ad for this jumpsuit I was super excited! Sadly, it was a fail. I normally wear a standard size 8, I'm 5'7.5" 34D and my measurements are 36-30.5-39. It was difficult to get the jumpsuit on over my hips. Once I had it pulled up, it was also challenging to get my arms through the sleeves. It seemed as if the garment was disproportionately cut short and I had to bend to get my arms through, however, it remained loose on my waist and on my shoulders/back. I could see this maybe being a little snug around my waist since mine is 30.5" and the M is suited for 30", but the hips?
I own several jumpsuits and was surprised by how strange the fit was, so I measured the garment itself. While I have never measured clothes before, I used their guide above and sent in my findings to customer service to see what they thought and to confirm whether I measured correctly. Unfortunately, I have not heard back. If I measured correctly, the hip came in at 20" vs the 21.5" listed on the chart above. I understand the nature of handmade clothing and I appreciate the uniqueness and care taken, but when something is approx. 1.5 inches off, it's a bummer. So, back the jumpsuit goes. I've never gone on such a factfinding mission for garment sizes before!
On the plus side, shipping was very fast.
