Fabric Story

This print celebrates Oregon’s native Showy Milkweed, a wildflower vital to monarch butterflies and loved by many more. The smooth feel and soft drape of this modal paired with its natural breathability make it an excellent choice for warm weather. Modal is a man-made cellulosic fiber created from the wood pulp of fast-growing beech trees. The fabric undergoes a pre-shrinking process before the garments are cut, so you can machine wash it without worry. It is line dry only.

Our Small Batch pieces are made in limited quantities using custom fabrics designed exclusively by Bridge & Burn. While we occasionally restock select styles, most pieces are only produced once. So once they're gone, they're gone for good.

The Ira is an easy, go-anywhere pullover dress with cuffed dolman sleeves, a band collar and split neckline. The skirt is gathered at the waist and features on-seam hand pocket. Hem hits just below the knee. Cut from breathable, silky-smooth modal, this dress drapes nicely with a matte sheen, and will keep you comfortable all summer long. It's lightweight and wrinkle-resistant, perfect for tossing in your bag for weekend getaways or an evening out.
